I really love to write and I’m pretty good at it. But whenever I try to write a story or something I start off good but always end up throwing it away–I can never seem to finish it. . . Sometimes I have a good idea that I really like but it’s just hard for me to write a story about and keep going. I like creative writing, but now I’ve almost given up because I can’t even write a short story. HELP!!! What should I do?. Any good creative writing websites to help me get started? Books?. I’m DESPERATE!!.

I was just searching for this info for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what’s the Google’s problem that does not rank this kind of informative sites closer to the top. Normally the top web sites are full of garbage.

Tears forced their way into my vision as I read this! I do not have girls, however, am blessed with three rambunctious, wild boys! I know the days of couch-cushion forts and rescuing princesses are going to fade their way into a dusty memory much quicker than I can handle! Thank you for putting into words the future emotion I will someday embrace, but for now have the fortune of only imagining! It is, for this very purpose, the reason I am writing the memories of my boys! So, when the day comes that who I have standing before me is a man, and no longer my baby, I will have those written memories to hold and share with the next generation of babies to come to me!!! So quickly time flies, but how much faster our children do grow!!!

Wow! That was a lot of talking to simply say ‘Thank you!’!!

I have three teen age girls and I can relate a lot, teen girls are different and one of my girls loved blues clues I miss those days, it is so busy when our kids are little and then they grow up and I wish they were little again, but would I have the energy to do it again…..

I loved this, it is bittersweet indeed.

My eldest girl is 11 and off to secondary in Sept. We both have razors in the bathroom now and bras are most definitely imminent! I miss what she was with all my heart but so proud of what she is and what she’s becoming. So strange

Oh my goodness … I can see what you mean, just watching my teen nieces. My little girl is only three, so I have a little ways to go … but it goes so fast and I can see it coming … you said it perfectly.
