Hello everybody! What a full summer it’s been. I can’t believe it’s almost over. Of course, I also can’t believe I’m the mother of a 16-yr-old and am almost forty! Yikes.
I’m back for the new school year, and I pledge to keep up on this blog for the coming school year. The exciting news is that giveaways are back and back big! On Friday I am launching the Back to School Big Book Bonanza Giveaway! Two lucky winners will win five of my assorted books (signed of course) each!
I also want you all to know that we are working on a top secret, super terrific, completely new section for the website. It has something to do with an adorable new character named Pip (who happens to be a penguin). Stay tuned!

Hooray for Pip!! I can’t wait!
I am brand new to the books of Karma Wilson, but I want to thank Karma for sharing her thoughts in the June 2008 issue of The Writer. I hope to someday write children’s books, and I appreciate this interview so much! You have encouraged me, Karma, because you have liked many of the same authors and aspects of writing that I do, and you were also told to basically forget it because of the money issue. Sad to say, I did give up on my dream for a while and actually avoided spending time reading what I really wanted to write. I recently decided (at mid-life)that it’s okay for me to work at something else but keep working on my dream, too. I felt that I needed a mentor, even unofficially, and I think I have found her! I appreciate your website and the interview. Thank you for inspiring me.
Great job! I love how easily you convey your information and make it such a quick read!
