hi karma..
your children did not suffer from separation anxiety….and mine really didn’t either.
we may have had a few days where they cried when i left the house, but the crying would end pretty quickly.
(probably because they were staying behind with their daddy…who they like more than me:) or with a fun babysitter!)

i hope i win your books! my kids are 2, 3 and 5.
(just read your article in the Writer magazine. great advice!)

Yours didn’t suffer from separation anxiety but mine do right now. They aren’t left that often because I am a SAHM but when I do leave them they have difficulties adjusting. Thank you for the giveaway!

LIke you,My kids didn’t suffer from separation anxiety either…but boy, I’ll tell you, they were very perplexed watching other children in their preschool who did…
Some of these kids would still be crying when I came to pick up my kids..I always felt bad for them.

Greetings, I am glad that you didn’t experience separation anxiety, but I did in a big way. When my oldest son began preschool, he would run around in the van with me trying to catch him. Then, I would get in the classroom and he would run out of the door! My husband and I actually dealt with this through first grade! One day I had to leave him being held down by the principle and social worker. That was very difficult. We did get therapy and it helped somewhat. The medication did zero.
