Why does the author choose the pig for the main charactor? I’m not sure, but I know that the author want to make some difference. He may exert his effert to encourage us to chanllenge ourselves, that is , we could better ourselves indeed.

That last sentence is so true! I always get upset at movies/books that end badly, and I think, “NO! Why did they write it that way?!” I love a happy ending. : ) I love Charlotte’s Web but I have to say that even though the spider dying teaches a valuable principle, I cry every time…and I don’t even like spiders.
