Wow, the days are flying by! I’ve been so busy I forgot to post a comment about my second giveaway.
I’m holding an online b-day party for my birthday on Oct. 8th. Normally I wouldn’t be so self-indulgent–but since one of my newest book releases, Whopper Cake, is actually about a giant b-day cake, I figured it would be fun to do a b-day tie in. The greatest part is that a signed hardcover first edition copy of Whopper Cake is the prize. Woo-hoo!
Two Winners
Child: The first prize is for a child. Simply have your child (could be your actual child or one of your students–I’m not picky) send me a scanned drawing or even an email note (but I really like pictures) at karmawilsongiveaways@msn.com. The first response I recieve on Oct. 8th (no early entries accepted) gets a signed copy of Whopper Cake and a signed paperback, and their drawing will appear in the kids section of my website! There is no obligation. Be sure to include your name, address, phone # and email address. All info sent, except name, remains private. I do announce the names of winners here on my blog. Note: if you are a child and want to enter this contest you really need to ask a responsible adult first and get permission. Thank you!
Parents: Second contest is for parents. First parent to email me a birthday note to karmawilsongiveaways@msn.com wins a free signed copy of Whopper Cake and a free set of five of my photo greeging cards (Kountry Kards by Karma). No obligation on your part! Just include your name, address, phone # in the email. All info except name remains private–I do announce the winner’s name here on my blog. No early entries please–wait until the Oct. 8th–first person who sends me a b-day greeting on that day wins.
I will announce here when the contest is closed. I reserve the right to post any adorable pictures I recieve from children on my website. Thanks!
I hope to see you here on Oct. 8th. And if you are a visitor to my blog, and know others who would be interested in this contest–let them know!
Oh, and tomorrow I’ll post installment #2 in my advice to aspiring writers. See ya then.

That is my Jack’s birthday too! I wish I had visited your site before so we could have wished you happy birthday. We will just have to remember this year and maybe you should do a “who shares my birthday?” contest.
